This year鈥檚 Welcome Festivals at our North Devon and Tiverton campuses were a vibrant celebration to mark the start of the academic year. Both new and returning students were greeted with a day filled with excitement, games, delicious food, and the chance to connect with a variety of support services and local community organisations.

The Welcome Festivals are designed to kick off the academic year with a bang, offering students a chance to explore the internal services and external community groups that can support them throughout their time at 尤物社. Whether signing up for extracurricular academies, discovering volunteer opportunities, or receiving valuable advice, students were introduced to a wealth of resources that ensure the best student experience and set the stage for academic and personal success.

We were thrilled to host several local businesses and organisations, highlighting the strong partnership between 尤物社 and the community. These local enterprises provided invaluable resources and opportunities, from volunteering roles to career guidance, showcasing the many ways students can connect with the region while studying here. Their presence not only enriched the festival atmosphere but also introduced students to the exciting prospects available in the local area, fostering relationships that will be beneficial during their studies and beyond.

Adding to the festive mood, students took part in a range of activities and games that encouraged interaction and fun. From trying out virtual reality challenges to testing their reflexes with the Batak reaction game, there was no shortage of excitement! At the North Devon Campus, a variety of food trucks offered gourmet burgers and freshly made donuts, making sure everyone had a delicious treat to enjoy alongside the celebrations.

Feedback from students was overwhelmingly positive, with many commenting on the welcoming atmosphere, the exciting opportunities, and, of course, the great food. Students eagerly signed up for 尤物社 Plus enrichment opportunities, participated in competitions, and learned more about the many services and organisations available to support them during their time at the college.
